Curated by Gabi Ngcobo, Specifications for a Reverse Archaeology drew from indigenous techno-spiritual histories to imagines a series of non-extractive engagements with the material and ethereal world connected to Mapungubwe. The colour palette and exhibition design spoke to concepts of deep time, black space and the anticipation of an alter-future.
